  1. Assuming you are young, I suggest you start kicking footballs. A NFL kicker is a great job.
  2. i've had a lot of luck with siton koucho.
  3. If you want pure exercise from a martial art then you are better off with something like taekwondo or even karate, but for all over fitness ( plus the fact that none of the previous could contend with the following in a scrap) you can't beat something like tai-chi or some form of kung-fu, maybe bagwa or wing-chun. My father is actually a tai-chi and all forms of kung-fu teacher and if you want any names or numbers of clubs just let me know and i'll get him to check the database. Of course you could just join the gym, take up swimming and mountainbiking and you'd be fit as a fiddle in no time.
  4. Taekwondo is a good place to start. Its mentaly and physically demanding, good for defending yourself in the street, gives you respect for other people and its an olympic sport.
  5. swimming is a great sport to get fit, or cycling! why not train up for a triathlon (swimming, cycling running)
  6. judo is fun, but swimming is the best excercise there is.
  7. Boxing.
  8. Sex is the best exercise but you have to sustain it & not be a 2 stroke wonder. Its good fun too.
  9. In my experience most contact sport leaves you with injuries as you get older, you get compensatory factors such as the ability to tough it out, physical confidence etc, but none the less the pain is real and can be debilitating, depends what you want from sport , if its just physical "wellness" a good mix of a cardio sport like middle distance running with a little weight bearing sport like gym and a stretchy activity like yoga or pilates should be a good mix. If you want to learn team skills, mental endurance and Physical toughness (and also don't mind the afore mentioned injuries) Ice Hockey, Rugby, shotokan karate or Jui Jitsu.
  10. KUNG FU
  11. if its martial arts your after thai boxing or boxing is the best thing you could learn stuff like tai kwon do is for sport and doesnt work in the reall world.
  12. i am from the uk. now its not quite as big over here as America, but its rapidly growing and considered by many as the most complete martial art you could do called kuk sool won. its Korean and has been passed down from the monks temples and the Royal Court. We do chi work, all weapons, sparring, board breaking, animal styles, meditation, forms and much more. I have won the European championships 3 years on the run and uks 2 years. i train every day. look it up a google search
  13. Martial Arts! i think it pretty romantic to go out with a lad that could protect u when walk with him. Im a fan of it...i wanna try it soon. lol =P
