Math Problem With A Scale Or Drawing?
The Warren's backyard is a 50 ft by 50 ft square. They have attached an 8 foot chain to a back corner fence post to tie up their dog. How much of an exercise does the dog have? I don't get it? Can somebody help me and tell me what to do? NOT THE ANSWER JUST WHAT TO DO THANKS!

- I think it's their way of asking; how much area can the dog travel in the yard tied as it is. I'm assuming the dog is limited to the edges of the lawn too. Does this help???
- It's asking What is the size and shape of the area the dog can reach?
- The size of the yard is not required, however it does indicate that the dog can only move on his 8 ft chain (which acts as a radius ) for only a quarter of a circle (perimeter) within the yard. Try Pi x D divided by 4
