Drawing Exercises

I feel like the right side of my body is "drawing up". What could cause this? What can I do about it?

I have spasms in my upper back that I think may be causing a tightening of muscles up into my neck in the front and back on that side. I also have tight muscles in my hip on the right side. I began having foot pain on that same side about 2 years ago, and the podiatrist recommended stretching exercises. I stretch, and sometimes that makes it feel better, but many mornings I wake up feeling tight and "drawn up" on the right side. I think I sleep on this side mostly. What can I do other than a medication to help this problem? What is causing it? Thank you!

  1. Have your back checked for compressed discs. My husband has this too and that is what they told him was wrong. Said it was a compressed disc pressing against a nerve. After many doctors appointments and specialist they told him to strengthen his back muscles and said go to physical therapy and it would subside.
  2. OK!Try to find a TCM doctor or an Acupuncture's doctor,but make sure he/she is an experienced one.It will not hurt you and it really will work.Trust it.
