Drawing Exercises

I have boney knees and skinny calves and I have a dress that ends right above my knees drawing attention there

I would get super self concious, so what can I do to draw attention away from that area of my body.? And some exercises that will muscle-up my calves and not make me look so scrawny. Boy, it's embarassing! I have great legs, but not from the top of my knee to the bottom of my calf. It's a regular black dress and I'm in High School.

  1. wear high heels and have a positive attitude guys dont take if you have thin legs or not they like the total entire put together confident package
  2. Try some calf lifts at the gym or what I do, I put my ankles on a stool and lie on the ground. Then I lift my bum up using calf muscles, you will feel the burn! Try wearing flatter shoes so that your muscles aren't stretched and make your legs look thinner. Also wear chunky bright necklaces to draw the eye up to your face. Or a nice big scarf around the neck
  3. Maybe a v neck or scoop neck dress with a pretty neck lace That will draw the eye upward or any type of printed ruffled top.
  4. i have the same problem. im skinny and yes i do have a black dress, and im in highschool. i have a sleveless black dress that stops above the knees. i think it looks rather good because i wear heels and it just makes my leggs look really good
  5. Oh Man! I know what you mean about the boney knees and skinny calves. I would never want to wear shorts or skirts because I was so embarrased by my knees and twig like legs. But honestly, don't worry about it. If you are tall, you could wear flat shoes. High heels elongate your legs even more and will make your legs look even more skinny. I don't know what the dress looks like, but if it's not too dressy you could wear some opaque tights. Either the kind that stop at your calves, or the full foot kind. Both are in style right now. Or you could just not worry about it and wear the dress and know that everyone is jealous of how good your legs look in that dress!
  6. The best exercise for calf is, surprisingly enough, ballet! I have really strong calfs and I run and bike, etc. But when I tried to take some beginner's ballet classes last year, my calfs were so sore the next day. I stopped taking the classes because I didn't want them to be too big. As for the dress, just wear it! Us girls are way more criticle on our own bodies than boys.
  7. Wear tights. The bare leg look is on its way out!
