does ballet balance exercises burn off fat from your lower stomach?

i have just started doing these balance exercises that leave me sore, but i want to know wether i can get my stomach flat from them or not. One of the exercises is standing on your right leg and in a controlled movement, draw a circle with your left leg then repeat with other leg. what will these type of workouts do for me?? thanks!

  1. fat cells burn when you are burning calories regardles of exercise. it is a common misconception that doing things like sit ups will actually make your stomach decrease in size. working out muscles will actually make them larger but you cannot specifically "choose" which fat cells to burn. If you feel a burn, your burning calories, which should eventually translate into less fat, but not necessarily in your stomach area.
