Is there any GOOD how-to-draw manga tutorial out there? I really want to learn how to draw manga. And by manga, I MEAN JUST REGULAR MANGA! No chibi, none of that "moohy" crap that I once saw on some loser's website, no art that vaguely resembles manga, no copying other people's characters in any way, not even manga style gag characters (characters in manga that are meant to look like they're not manga). Also, when I say just manga, I mean the artwork itself (aka how you draw and what style you draw in, not what you draw), because I am also interested in anthro (half-human, half-something else) characters. By the way, Anthro does NOT mean "just some almost normal person with animal ears and possibly an animal tail," I'm talking about traditional-style werewolf type things (by traditional I mean NOT what you see in most werewolf movies that feature someone who looks like part human and part something that is not a wolf *glares with apocalyptic fury at the makers of scooby-doo*). Anyway, i also want something easily accessible. Also, I have tried going to art-type stores, and the did have plenty of how to draw manga books, but not one of them was even vaguely manga.

Where can you get nibs or a pen for drawing manga and such? (Other than Japan, is there a store for ink pens to draw manga? I'm just an beginner but I love to draw. I just have regular ink pens and they work fairly well. I just wish that I could use the kind in manga and in people's manga tutorials. In the comments, they ususally mention where they got the pens but the pens are usually some place far away! I think a nib pen is what people a long time ago used. It looks pretty cool)

Couple of questions about drawing and creating manga.? Yush. Sooo, as a complete and total anime nerd, I've started realizing that the best way to suit my intense NEED to somehow produce anime is best started by drawing or computer generating it. So,a few questions. 1. What sort of thing should I look for in a manga drawing book/tutorial, and what beggining style is most commonly used? 2. What are some programs-free or not, so long as they're not insane expensive-that can allow me to generate pictures? 3. My personal obsession, AMV's. Only problem is, I want to use anime I create, so that I can fit the video to the music as I've always been able to see it. Is there any way to produce moving, actual anime (not just pictures put to music) to do this with? Keep in mind I'm just a kid. 14 years old, I don't have as many options or as much money as a huge company.

Why is it hard for me to draw a Step-By-Step manga tutorial? Without a specified step-by-step tutorial, I can draw these characters almost quite good as long as I have the picture next to me to copy. I do use guidelines because they are quite helpful when I am trying to draw right out from my mind, but when it comes to following a step-by-step tutorial I always failed. I don't think it's because of the many lines that are involve, but maybe it's probably because I never learned how to draw by these types of method, but idk. So, do I need to worry about this issue or is this something normal? Do you prefer not use a step-by-step tutorial and prefer to just try to draw the image as best as you can?
