Superman Cartoon Drawing Knowledge Base
What do you think of my drawing? It's a cartoon/pop style black & white high contrast drawing of Superman/Clark Kent. http://pigrats.deviantart.com/art/Hero-116265209 I'm not "begging for complinments", go to the "am I pretty?" questions for that. I was just looking for honest opinions and ideas on how I could improve.
Can someone help me name a Anime/Manga/Cartoon/Video Game Character for child booklet? Basically my school gave me a project to write a tiny book based on sports for kids. So I though I'd go get a Manga/Cartoon/Video Game etc. character but I need help choosing: I DO NOT WANT: -Naruto, Bleach, One Piece etc: They are kids! Bloody things are NOT allowed. -Sonic,Mario and Pokemon because I have huge trouble drawing them. -TMNT: I need something not only based on boys (A lot of girls hates it) - Old cartoons like Flinstones, Garfield - Superman, Batman etc. -Spongebob. - Mature things. Sorry I'm being so picky!
Could we ever become this society ever again? During World War 2 superman comics showed superman defeating Nazis and Hitler. Disney was drawing cartoons depicting the evils of Nazis, Hitler and Japan. There was an obvious Evilness of our enemies and American soldiers were glorified as heros and there was pride in the country and military. Now it seems people want to tie the hands of our troops and would prefer to sympathize with the enemy. could we return to being proud in our country and its stances? Could we return to being proud of our military might as a nation?
What methods are used to make cartoons nowadays? I am curious to know if animators still take the "drawing everything frame by frame" approach.... I know everything is much easier these days and there are probably new ways of doing it. I want to animate but I don't want to be the "Timex watch in a digital age" lol. It seems like more and more people are going 3d since you can reuse the material, don't have to draw every frame, and don't have to possess superb artistic (drawing) skills to do it - but cartoons are still popular (Simpsons, Family Guy, Superman, Ben 10!) so SOMEBODY's making them right? And probably with nothing more than pencils, papers, scanners and computers,... I just wonder if there is a more "efficient" route now than the "frame by frame" approach...
Is Wooldoor Sockbat and Sponge Bob Square pants the same? i was watching comedy central's "drawn together", was trying to figure out who those B celebrity cartoon characters are supposed to be... Betty boop, superman, zelda but who is the yellow character? Comedycentral.com says his name is Wooldoor Sockbat... off beat question but i thought someone here might quench my curiousity.
There is one thing I dont understand about white people, they make problems. a question? ok lets say the problem for themselves. well not that i am interested in them..but i just find it suprising, are they for real or what? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8_FevrLdaw&feature=related If u look at a cartoon and superheroes, the men must have big chest, hands but like its drawn white mostly i.e superman, batman with their big chest..this now takes every child, adult and race of men and women to believe that? that having big chest and musles...makes u the strongest or better or fit. Now we know most white ppl are not like this in real life then now every race or some white people hate some coloured people with bigchest..unnecessary forgetting they are the ones who brainwashed everyone. Ok secoundly in that vid, guess who would be watching the fight? white people. an asian scissor-kicked the whtman still wht ppl are the ones shouting that they have beaten their man..so also when blk and wht are running race or boxing..wht ppl are the ones always shouting that the blk or nonwht person won the boxing. why do they act in the opposite way to things? haha, "notice" well maybe u guys aint real??/ haha, whine guy, answer me?
Why in cartoons does the bad guy always set up elaborate traps for the hero instead of just killing him then? Whenever you watch a villian / superhero show like Superman, Batman or Spiderman or whatever, the villain always manages to capture the hero, but never just goes through with finishing him or her. They always set up these big, drawn-out traps and then LEAVE (what!?) without even watching to make sure the hero doesn't get away and the s/he dies. Have you noticed this? We all know the obvious reason why - there would be no more show, but still a fun question nevertheless. Give me your opinion on it.
